A contact is possibly appearing offline

This will alert you if a contact requests a conversation connection and has their status set to "Appear offline" or has blocked you.

A contact will request a conversation connection if they:

  • Open a conversation and type
  • Open your display picture preview and don't have your display picture in their cache
