With the Read Aloud option, you can opt for Messenger Discovery to read the messages you receive out loud. This is a great feature for those who are visually impaired or are just damn right lazy.

It is advised that you rename your contacts as the name of the contact will be read out loud before the message. For example: John says hello mate, how are you doing?
